Ms. Tanya McCartney, CEO and Executive Director of the Bahamas Financial Services Board (BFSB) today paid a courtesy call on Mrs. Darnell Osborne, President of The Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA).

The amicable discussion included ways in which the two organizations could continue working closely together to resolve issues confronting not just accounting professionals but professionals in other areas of the financial services industry as well.

BICA has an elected seat on BFSB’s Board of Directors as one of the members of the financial services sector’s Professional Industry Associations. BICA has been in existence since August 6, 1971 and is Regulator of the Accounting profession in The Bahamas.
