Dirk W. Simmons is the new Managing Director of Citco Fund Services (Bahamas) Limited, a division of the [Citco Group of Companies](http://www.citco.com), a global financial services organization which provides banking, administrative, fiduciary and financial services from over 35 countries.
Citco is the largest independent Administrator of Hedge Funds in the world, with offices in strategic jurisdictions, including Amsterdam, The Bahamas, Bermuda, The British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, The Channel Islands, Curacao, Dublin, Hong Kong, London, Luxembourg, Cork, New Jersey, New York, Toronto,, Halifax, San Francisco, Singapore and Sydney. It commenced operations in The Bahamas in 1994, and consistently has been ranked “Best in Class” and “Top-Rated” in recognized global industry surveys of hedge fund administrators, for both single manager funds and funds of hedge funds.
Dirk Simmons joined Citco in June 2000 as Vice President. Prior to that, he specialized in the Investment Company and Bank & Trust Industry sectors at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds an LL.B. (Hons.) law degree from the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom, a Bachelors degree (Hons.) in Accounting & Economics from Belmont University in the United States of America, and also is holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) professional designation. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPAS), the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA), and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of England and Wales (London ACIB).
Mr. Simmons is an active member of BFSB’s Funds Working Group.
