**Richard Dolewski, Mid-Range**

Certified Systems Integration Specialist and Disaster Recovery Planner Richard Dolewski will be a featured speaker at the upcoming Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Seminar being hosted by the Bahamas Financial Services Board.

As Vice-President for Technical and Contingency Services at Mid-Range (Canada), he has extensive experience in Disaster Recovery Planning, BCP, Backup & Recovery program design, and Systems Availability.

Mr. Dolewski has implemented a variety of solutions for customers in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. He is the past president of the Toronto Users Group for Mid-Range Systems (TUG) and is a frequent speaker at technical conferences.

Mid-Range is an IBM Premier Business Partner that has been providing the Canadian, U.S. & Caribbean markets with IBM eServer related products and services since 1998.

The Seminar is being hosted as part of BFSB’s Business Seminar Series, and Co-Sponsors include the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Cable Bahamas, CIBC Trust Company (Bahamas) Ltd., Pictet Bank & Trust, and Providence Technology Group.

In addition to Mr. Dolewski’s presentation on the Technical Aspects of Planning, the agenda also includes presentations on (1) Lessons Learned / The Bahamas Response;(2) Regulating for Disaster Preparedness: What is expected of Financial Services Sector Licensees; (3) National Planning Initiatives; and (4) Infrastructure Readiness.

She says BCP is an essential component in the delivery of high quality financial services, and the Bahamas has an excellent record in ensuring business recovery and continuity in terms of disruption.
