An Accounting Assistant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, **Candace P. Rolle** was a Spring Graduate of the COB, obtaining her BBA in Accounting, with Distinction. She is a finalist in the 2006 BFSB **Financial Services Student of the Year** awards programme.

Candace was the recipient of the 2006 School of Business Award for outstanding academic achievement and contribution to the school. While at the College, Candace received Dean’s List Awards every semester, and made the President’s Honour Roll in 2002 and 2003. She received a 2-year scholarship from COB. She was a member of the Business Club, Accounting Association, and Finance Task Force at COB. Since graduating, Candace has returned to the COB for a special Presentation to the Advanced Accounting Class on the process for qualifying to take the CPA exam.

A graduate of the C.R. Walker Senior High School, Candace made Honour Roll every semester from grades 10-12, obtained 4 BGCSEs, received numerous certificates in various subjects, and earned first-class passes in British Pitman Exams Level 1 in Accounting and Word Processing. While at C.R. Walker, she was a member of the Debate Team from 1999-2001 as well as a Junior Achiever and a member of the C.R. Walker Music Choir.

Her employers at PwC describe Candace as *“having the ability and ideas necessary to bring clarity to the task at hand”* and further that *“much is expected of her at PricewaterhouseCoopers”*. Candace has been working with the Auditing Department since starting at the firm, and is expected to join the Audit Team in short order.

Candace joins two other finalists for the Student Award: **Aisha Melvina Johnson: BBA – Banking & Finance**; and **Jody Christina Wells: AA – Law & Criminal Justice.**

BFSB will announce the winner at the upcoming FSI Industry Excellence Awards Banquet, scheduled for October 21. Along with the Careers Fest, the Student Award is a component of BFSB’s ongoing Financial Centre Focus, an ongoing public education and awareness programme dedicated to:
