Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas**
In a National Address tonight, the Prime Minister announced a readjustment in his Cabinet, with changes in a number of ministerial portfolios. He had indicated earlier that his Administration is *”about to promulgate new policy initiatives for the next period in The Bahamas.”* Noting that some of these initiatives are of major importance to the economy and to the security and safety of Bahamians, Prime Minister Christie had foreshadowed some changes as a result of a review undertaken of *”how best to virtually guarantee the Bahamian people that the Government will be able to ensure that the policies, programmes and initiatives that it will take in the coming year are properly executed.”*
