**Mark N. Sills**

Mark Sills, Partner in the Toronto Office of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP will address the Bahamas Financial Services Board’s October 5 **Product Development Seminar** that is being held under the theme *”Tax as a Driver of Wealth Management.”*

Participating on the Seminar Session that will study the impact of trade agreements on the Bahamian economy, Mr. Sills will speak to the WTO in particular, with specific focus on the financial services industry. He will also speak to the role of bilateral investment protection agreements in facilitating structured investment in other nations.

Mark Sills’ legal practice is primarily focussed on international trade and investment issues. He has wide-ranging experience in the drafting and negotiation of investment agreements between foreign investors and host country governments in the developing world. Mr. Sills has been extensively involved in providing legal and policy advice on international trade issues to the governments of The Bahamas, Viet Nam, the Russian Federation and Kyrgyzstan.
