SG Hambros (Bahamas) recently provided the opportunity for executives from its global head office to present investment management advice to Bahamian-based clients and other professionals. The company provides investment management services for major individual and institutional investors, plus external banking services for high net worth individuals and corporation.

Additionally, SG Hambros provides mutual fund services, corporate services, including pension fund administration, and also has a trust management division.

Speaking at the Investment Seminar, Andy Hartwell – Global Investment Strategist at SG Hambros London – pointed out that it is time for investors to switch from “safe haven” stocks such as food and pharmaceuticals into sectors such as information technology and health care. Companies in the telecommunications and technology sectors were seen as particularly appealing.

Howard Hughes, SG Investment Management’s Chief Executive, presented an overview of the company’s worldwide operations.
