G20 Meeting Concludes in Los Cabos

The G20 Meeting in Los Cabos, Mexico has concluded with the adoption of a Declaration reaffirming global commitment to advancing the agenda on transparency and information exchange for tax purposes. The Declaration calls on the OECD Global Forum to rapidly start examining the effectiveness of information exchange practices. The term “tax haven” is used in association with anti-money laundering and the countering of terrorist finance.

The leaders also made a number of policy commitments.
